How switching works
Every step, clearly in view.
Invited members see and approve each step before any charge, transfer or activation begins.
| Step | What happens | What doesn't happen | Typical time |
|---|---|---|---|
| 01 Check your phone | We ask the network whether your phone is compatible and eSIM ready. | Nothing about your current service changes. No account is needed. | Seconds |
| 02 Create your account | Choose a password and verify your email once. Your progress saves as you go. | No payment yet. | A minute |
| 03 Add your service address | This is your emergency (E911) address for calls over Wi-Fi. | We format it; serviceability is confirmed in review. | A minute |
| 04 Choose your number | Keep your number with a guided transfer, or get a new one. | Checking eligibility doesn't start a transfer. | A minute |
| 05 Review and authorize | You see every tax and fee and accept the agreements before service begins. | Nothing is sent to the network until you approve it. | A few minutes |
| 06 Specialist review | A person reviews every first-wave request before anything moves. | If something needs fixing, we ask you first. | Shown in your account as it happens |
| 07 Your number moves | We request the transfer from your current carrier. | Your old service keeps working until the move completes. | Most transfers complete within one business day; some take longer |
| 08 Install your eSIM | When your line is ready, install the eSIM from your account. | Installation details are only shown to you, in your account. | A few minutes |
| 09 You're active | Your bill starts from today, the day your line activated. | Your card is charged now, for the first period. |
Times are typical, not guaranteed. Your account always shows where your order is and what it's waiting on.
If your transfer needs a correction
Carriers sometimes reject a transfer because the account number or transfer PIN doesn't match. Your order is saved, your old service keeps working, and you can fix the detail from your account. We resend it for you.
If activation needs attention
If the network can't finish your activation, you're not charged for service. A specialist picks it up, and your account shows what's happening. If it can't be completed, your card authorization is released.
